When I'm in New York, I stay at The W Union Square, though I'm dying to try the SoHo Grand. Next time. My favorite secret restaurant is a little place on 20th off Park Avenue South called Veritas. They have a wine list that reads like the Manhattan White Pages!

Unfortunately, Los Angeles is a wasteland of culture, as we all know. No. I take that back. Los Angeles is just a wasteland. But, it's sunny and warm. So, there's just the slight consolation of driving the Boxster up PCH at sunset.
