In this "Give Me Something New" world, I realize that I have been as guilty about celebrating the newbies that are just arriving, and ignoring those that have been around a while. I realize that isn't a good thing. I don't do it to slight other people, but only as an indicator, a way of pointing out some things that you might not have been aware of, and that maybe you should be.

However, this is true of those that have been around for a while (who are new to the newbies!) and even if it's just the alcohol talking, I feel the need to mention some journals here that I never fail to read and that you should look at as well.

amanda_latona. Sure she's not everyone's favorite, but she definitely is there, is active, is in your face cutting edge and then there's the whole S Club thing. It's just funny sometimes, then extremely funny at other times. Latona. I'll phone ya.

sherylcrow and

m_chisholm. They're both members of

kilbys_angels and are both fantastic singers, funny and fab. You might say they add spice to LJ, but then you might get your ass kicked.

tobey_maguire. He's always thoughtful, sincere, usually has a point to make and it's usually something that relates. Useful and good to have around, even without the spider sense.

chelle_williams. I'm sure no matter what I say here, It'll be wrong. So I'll just say that I'm sure she'll find her happiness, with someone who is very close by. Like one name above, even.

billy_zane and

g_gershon. Not quite heads and tails of the same coin (which would be which, anyway?) Billy and Gina are always provocative, thought producing commentators, who aren't afraid of anything. Only the smart people have them on their friends lists.

keri_lynn_pratt. The friendliest person in MBP, I think, and one of the hardest workers around. She is a ray of sunshine when she's okay, and a voice of hope when things aren't going so well. Only the caring people have her on their friends list.

villevalo. Whether it's Him or Her, Valo is a must to have around, since he's nothing like anyone else here! Despite that, he's got a hot sense of humor to go with a cool demeanor, and that can be devastating for some. This journal is definitely not for everyone, but if it's for you, you're very fortunate.

larisa_oleynik. Ha! I almost spelled her name Oleychik! But Risa is a real charmer. Her sense of humor and fun sort of sneaks up on you, much like her adorablility. Those are just a couple of the ten things I like about her.

natalie_portman. Absolutely, without a doubt, no questions asked, totally, unequivocally, she is the stone fox.

alex_james. He's poetic and sympathetic, and occasionally pathetic, but all of us are from time to time.

teddythompson. So you've found someone who has really deep thoughts. What's so amazing about really deep thoughts? You have to read the journal to find out.

prepon. She's just the hottest Prepon there could ever be. Accept no substitutes.

c_diaz. Who I hope is still around as I write this! She has always been great, and I hope she continues to be.

miss_janet and

wes_bentley. There aren't a lot of happy couples around here. I guess that sort of spoils the fun in some ways, but I always have to smile when I see an entry from either of them.

joeylaurenadams and

rdowney_jr. The neighbors. Hardly seen these days, but just had their 6 month wedding anniversary! They have been wonderful to me, and I miss hearing of their exploits.

lavigne. Even though she hates me, I still have to give the girl props. She's always around, she's always on target, and she is the future... the Bubble Winner for Best Youth.

Sue me later.
