debra_messing took some time and created a bunch of new icons for me! I'm going to begin cycling them in over the next day or so. Deb is very sweet, and even though I hardly ever interact with her anymore, it's nice to know she occasionally thinks of me. In case you're reading this Debra, thanks!
k_beckinsale has asked me out. She's selecting something for us to do on Sunday afternoon. Or she WILL select something. I'm fairly sure this is a platonic, "you're a nice person let's go have some fun" outing, especially after reading her continuing comments about ledger. Our day should be kinda like the day I had with paltrow weeks and weeks ago. (I swear I had nothing to do with her disappearance.)
Speaking of Gwyneth, her childhood friendmaya_rudolph has appeared, as well as her SNL castmate, Amy poehler and former SNLer (and current "Just Shoot Me"er) davidspade. It's suddenly a veritable SNLfest. A LORNEucopia, if you will. Is this a good thing? The jury is still out. Go see for yourselves!
The lovelyc_carpenter took the man she loves johnrzeznik as her lawfully wedded husband last night. I was fortunate enough to attend the reception for the Charisma and John, who really couldn't keep their hands off of one another to make it through a proper champagne toast and the cutting of the cake. That's what I call true passion.
Another passionate note that may or may not be true came out during the festivities.jennifer_l and affleck may be possibly having an oven in those buns. Yes, the pitter-patter of baby booty might be a possibility, but you never heard it from me. In fact, I really don't believe it. I mean, if the source was The Enquirer, The Star, the NY Post... maybe. But some music magazine, scooping the tabloids? Where's the street cred there? They should stick to reports on the American Idol tour. (Hi to our Top Ten superstar k_clarkson!)
And I was corraled (and practically saddled) by the group I'm starting to call The Three Furies:j_margulies, m_chisholm and sherylcrow along with their accomplice in fun, zara_phillips. No, it was all very, very innocent. I tossed pillows at them and despite the cuddling, it was all very PG rated and they are all very wonderful women.
However, I must admit, they all seem to be as horny as toads! I think they're looking for dates. Especially Julianna, who was supposed to be out on the town withjeremypiven, but he didn't show, which is how I wound up there, sharing pillows. At least, I think they were pillows!
When the discussion turned Oprahesque, I made my excuses and headed for the exit.
I should mention that the Friday events were precipitated by the appearance of my worst interview in history. That's right, Anna Nicole Smith appeared on the show. She was as glossy as an 8 x 10 and as bright as a 15 watter. When she started to count her tattoos on her fingers, I nearly lost it. I swear, If Macy's uses her in the parade this year, I think they'd be hard pressed to decide: float or balloon?
Oh, and I have to have a present sent over tokeri_lynn_pratt on Monday. It's going to be her birthday and she deserves a treat. I'd tell you what it was, but she might actually be reading this, so I'll share it in another couple of days.
Meantime, is there a way to brainwash just the part of my mind that knows and recognizes Anna Nicole? Please let me know soon.
