This Week's Show, And Other Events
Aug. 25th, 2002 11:39 pmAs every good tennis fan knows, The US Open is about to start. This means, a couple of things. One is that every night there will be a half hour "highlights" show that preceeds my show. It also means that I'm in reruns, which is great, because who wants to try to follow John McEnroe's brother. Talk about buzzkill!
Anyway, there is ONE show I wanted to alert you to, either if you hadn't seen them the first time, or wanted to catch it again.
Tuesday, August 27th is the great performance of "Complicated" by our very own Avril
lavigne! Ironically, Jason Priestley is also a guest on this show, so if you're especially morbid, there's yet another reason to watch.
I might be flying out to NYC for the tennis coverage. Last year, I was around for the second week of the tourney, and flew back right before September 11th. Wow. That was a mindblower. Seriously. It still seems surreal.
Meanwhile, in happier stuff, the darling
debra_messing has invited me to dine as a birthday gift, so I'll cash in that token sometime later this week.
Thanks also to
liv_tyler for sending along a cake and to
drew_barrymore for her offerings! And thank you to everyone for your kind wishes!
I think we will have a new
late_late_show on my anniversary, September 8th. I'll have details about that, this coming weekend.
Have a wonderful week, everyone!
Proud of you.
