The Plans WERE There!
Jul. 14th, 2002 03:51 pmI had fully intended to make an appearance at
joeylaurenadams little barbecue dinner last night. However, Vince Vaughn came along and hijacked me before I could get out of the house.
He wanted to go out for a "Man Show" kinda night... 4 Play Gentleman's Club off of Olympic, and east of the 405, then up to Sunset for some bar hopping. Vince seems enamored with a dancer named Isis. I can understand why.
Luckily he did save some cash for the rest of the evening's debauchery.
I used to like nights like this... now I see them as just a waste of time and money. Am I being boring?
I think strip clubs were created for married guys who are tired of making love to their spouse, and want a new face, smile, ehrm, pick your body part, to focus on while in bed with wifey. If you're single and are going, it's nothing more than an opportunity to toss your dollars to someone you won't be going home with at the end of the night.
I suppose I should be attempting to have a relationship with someone, but no one seems interested in me at all. And don't confuse that statement with a desire to get sympathy. It's just a fact.
*shrugs*
I've got a busy week ahead!
