Back to Los Angeles
Apr. 28th, 2002 07:15 pmFollowing someone across the country isn't something I normally do. But Deb isn't going to be back in the L.A. area until a week from this coming Tuesday, so I simply had to give her one day, our version of "24" to try what we are doing, to indulge. And how indulgent!
It's rare that I go to New York and not actually leave the house (I'm pretty sure I've mentioned I kept a small apartment there in the past). On the other hand, the weather was miserable. I felt sorry for her, having to be outside for her Pediatric AIDS benefit at Wollman Rink.
After Brunch, I made a mad dash to the JFK and hopped the first plane back in time to do tonight's
late_late_show, while she headed to Central Park. It's the craziest thing I think I've ever done.
And yet, I feel remarkably sane.
