Whirlwind Update

I can't quite believe I haven't updated my journal in over a week. Between the show, the stuff around the show and the stuff not around the show, there's been no time to post.

I have been a regular contributor to the AIM chat sessions, and I'll share a *bit* about those in a moment.

First though, everyone has been asking me about the Hef Birthday party at the Playboy Mansion this past weekend. I'll give you some more details about it all in my "In The News" segment on this Friday's show. Suffice it to say that it was tall, blond and filled with alcohol.

It was a pajama/lingerie party and everyone dressed like Hef, or wore less. But any nudity was very tasteful.

Hey! I'm saving the best stories for the show. Which, by the way, is already creating a buzz equal to the Oscar Statuette episode. paltrow and rachael_leigh are really hot. And their careers are going well, too!

And while we're on the subject, debra_messing has been quite sweet to me in the past couple of weeks, so I'm having lunch with her tomorrow. Are we getting closer? Just friends? I'll be able to tell you more tomorrow.

Deb has already offered to help as audience coordinator for the late_late_show! Not that she needs that kind of hassle. But she's been the most consistently caring person, and the most interested. Why not? Hey! It's just lunch.

As for the AIM sessions, c_bale has returned with a vengance, and he wields his rapier wit like the sandwich toothpick it is. And of course the main topic of discussion is about m_damon's engagement. Is it true? Isn't it? It's sparked a bunch of emotions, and has me thinking about a lot of really good jokes. "That's Irratainment!"

I'm going to go for a jog. Gotta stay in shape.

I know, huh? Bale turned out to be somewhat of a jerk. I was really getting frustrated there for a while, but then you came in like a knight in shining armor and made me laugh.
