Clearly there's an agenda at afoot here. The desire to have a team called "The Patriots" play in the Super Bowl must have had some bearing on the outcome of yesterday's playoff between New England and the visiting Oakland Raiders.

The turning point of the game came in the closing 2 minutes, when New England QB Tom Brady motioned as if to throw a pass, then touched the ball with his NON-THROWING hand as if to reset! His arm was knocked by a Raider defender, the ball squirted loose and Oakland fell on it, effectively ending the game!

But the refs (in particular, replay official REX STUART and the field head referee WALT COLEMAN) said that Brady was actually in the act of throwing and called it an incomplete pass, which allowed The Pats to retain possession of the ball and continue their drive to score a field goal to tie the game, and another field goal to win it in overtime.

Personally, I don't care about either one of these teams. They aren't my beloved Vikings. But, I do care about the referees (and in the "Grand Scheme," EVERYONE) getting it right! It's about using the technology we have to help, not to spoil a game by getting it ass backwards!

Stuart and Coleman... You. Blew. That. Call.

That's all.

I am a huge Pats fan and I could not have been happier. I changed the channel with 2:34 left on the clock, certain they blew it. I turned back a half hour later and people were celebrating. Go Pats!!!

Good News!

You're in luck, since the whole thing has been pre-arranged!

Congrats to Super Bowl XXXVI Champion New England Patriots! (You heard it here first!)

The U.S. v. Taliban comparison will be extremely obvious when the Pats face the RAMS!

The most surprising thing during the game will be the commercials.
