Yambo: First Blood

We actually got to play Yambo on AIM for the first time last night! It was tricky, since I was hosting two separate games in two different rooms simultaneously. Participants included joeylaurenadams and rdowney_jr in one room, natalie_portman, trevor_penick in another, and katie_holmes playing in both rooms!

I was coming up with questions off the top of my head, trying to keep score for both rooms and I had a bit too much egg nog. Apologies for not naming all the participants.

It went pretty well, considering it was very impromptu, and I had nothing (and I mean NOTHING) prepared to do it. I think the Yambo tournament should go on. I'll have more about that after New Years.

Another first for me was chatting with a fan. Her name is dawnmarie and she and I had a nice little AIM talk just before the Yambo games. Dawn was quite complementary and seems to be extremely lively, having her own website complete with camera. Fun stuff!

I should have the rest of the gifts up by tomorrow evening! Maybe I'll see you on AIM tonight.

Damn! If i had only known - i would have loved to play yambo - but was it only for the fabulous people? I do have references :)
