1. If you could choose an artist to write a song about something you've experienced, who would write your song?

Hm. That's a toughie. Maybe Neil Diamond? Maybe John Mayer? Depends on how hard an edge it needs to have, I guess.

2. same kind of thing.. If they were making a movie of your life, who would you want to play you?

I guess if you're casting a young me, maybe Paul Walker? Someone closer to me currently, hm. Has Anthony Michael Hall gotten into shape? I don't know. How does John Cusack look as a blond?

3. Live to Work, or Work to Live?

Definitely live to work! It's all about the fun of the job. Too many people are doing things they don't want to do. If more people pursued their passions, they would be happier and, even better, more successful at their work.

4. What's your earliest memory?

I remember taking a bath in the kitchen sink and splashing water everywhere. I don't know how old I was... maybe one and a half? It was fun. I highly recommend it for anyone of any age.

5. Who's your favourite character and/or cast member of SNL?

There was an actor named Don Novello from the early years of the show. He played an occasional character called Father Guido Sarducci. I was always really impressed by him, and the sort of humanizing way of making what seemed to be a very repressed religion. I was a little disappointed when I discovered he wasn't an actual priest, and I thought that he really should have been, because that's the sort of religious leader needed for our society. Of course, look what we ACTUALLY got. Better yet, don't!
1. Who has been your favorite interview on the CBS show and why?

That's a good question. It's so hard to choose just one! A lot of my childhood heroes have been on... like Adam West, SHATNER, Merv, who is now a close, personal friend!

But I like the guests who both talk and sing, so for that reason, and because he showed up when I asked him to AND he appeared on two consecutive shows, Morrissey I think is the correct answer!

2. What has been your favorite moment on the Live Journal version of the show and why?

That's easy. It was Show #1. The Whole Show. It was totally new, no one (not even me) knew what to expect, and it was a real rush! It was crucial that the guests were good, because if that first show didn't work, it would have been the LAST show! So, that was a big part of the success. You are partially responsible for the phenomenon, so thanks!

3. You're bringing a lady home to meet your parents and your Mom is going to cook dinner. What do you ask Mom to prepare?

Ha! I ask Mom to pick up the phone and call the Mississippi Belle Italian Restaurant and order meals. Seriously, I wouldn't ask my mom to cook for the dog. If she HAS to cook, though, I guess she can put together one of those Kraft Macaroni and Cheese dinners, and MAYBE she could cook a roast without ruining it...

4. Which is the best Popsicle flavor?

Cherry is the best (a.k.a. "red")!

5. How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?

The world may never know.
