So far, it's not going so well for the Lakers... Down by 7 at the half. But it could have been much worse.

It was surprising to see [livejournal.com profile] affleck and his favorite co-star, [livejournal.com profile] lopez_j sitting courtside. I'll have to find out who they want to win, since the Celtics look like they're about to get swept right out of the playoffs by Jersey.

I'll have the full details later today. Right now, I have to get back to my seat.
It was all about Shaq, Kobe and defense.

Lakers came back from 16 down to win by 4, and they did it without their coach and Zen Master, Phil Jackson, who had emergency angioplasty for a blocked artery yesterday! They expect him to make a full recovery, but he won't be back to the LA bench for a while.

That's unlike [livejournal.com profile] affleck who was practically the 14th member of the team... sitting closer to the Lakers than even Jack.

The next home game is going to be Thursday... Game 6. But the next matchup is Tuesday night, and that's the pivotal game. Whoever wins in San Antonio will have a major advantage going into the final two games.

Meanwhile, I want to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!

Personally, I think that every day should be Mother's Day. But I suppose if you need an excuse to be nice to your mom, it's better that there is one day when you can demonstrate that, so you can, you know, buy her affection.
