There Will Be A Thursday... And There Is A Today!

It was all about Shaq, Kobe and defense.

Lakers came back from 16 down to win by 4, and they did it without their coach and Zen Master, Phil Jackson, who had emergency angioplasty for a blocked artery yesterday! They expect him to make a full recovery, but he won't be back to the LA bench for a while.

That's unlike affleck who was practically the 14th member of the team... sitting closer to the Lakers than even Jack.

The next home game is going to be Thursday... Game 6. But the next matchup is Tuesday night, and that's the pivotal game. Whoever wins in San Antonio will have a major advantage going into the final two games.

Meanwhile, I want to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!

Personally, I think that every day should be Mother's Day. But I suppose if you need an excuse to be nice to your mom, it's better that there is one day when you can demonstrate that, so you can, you know, buy her affection.

Hey, I didn't see you today. I thought you were going to come over to say hello. Maybe you didn't notice me because I was sitting to next the ever-so beautiful salma__hayek. (I'm always overlooked when I'm with her)

Anyway I'm toying around with the idea of having a little get together for game 5. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow, but if it does happen you're invited.

I move around a little. I was up in the owner's box for a bit... Jerry Buss and I are Party Pals... and I would have said hello, but I had to stay out of the camera sightlines. ABC has a thing about not letting my picture on screen as a favor to Jimmy Kimmel. He needs the ego boost.

I would love to hang at a viewing party! Definitely count me in! I'll make up my famous spicy guacamole dip. Let me know.
