I'm Glad I Didn't Get That Tux...
Mar. 19th, 2002 08:25 amSo I get a call from my agent Mike Nilon of CAA this morning. He's such a workaholic, he's at the office at 8am!
He says the producers of the movie I'm appearing in ("Old School") have a couple of extra scenes to film and, you guessed it, they have to shoot it on one of my days off. And so, they're shooting it Sunday. Oscar Sunday.
So, I won't be able to attend the glittering affair after all.
But apparently this isn't unusual for the film industry. People constantly have to be on location, or on set even if they've been nominated for an award.
Thank goodness Gwyneth has Seth to be her escort. Hopefully, I'll be able to talk to her about it before the end of the day.
