Neighbor! I was really not expecting to see this from you today or anytime in the near future. I'm a little stunned so bear with me. We've been here for a long time and a lot has happened in both of our lives along the way. You've been a friend since the very beginning and it will take some getting used to not having you around. I was just going over the transcripts of that very first LJ Late, Late Show. I miss those times and how things seemed to be a lot easier then. I know you get what I mean by that. You've had my back since the beginning and words can't tell you what that has meant to me. You understand my desire to be creative and have shown amazing examples of that yourself. Without your ideas or creative input so much around here would never have happened and in case I haven't properly done so before, let me thank you now. Thank you, Craig!! To say I will miss you is an understatement. I hope you still keep your home in the hills above mine because even with my residency being sporadic these days, I'd like to think I can still wave to you from time to time. Best of luck to you. Well, the point of journaling here was the whole "celeb interaction" that happened on the talk show. Now that that's ending, so is this. It's actually and synergistically timed. [I] really had no idea this was going to happen, but it is the appropriate thing to do.

What can I say? It's been a real experience. I have some of my most very fond memories with you... from that great barbecue, to the RD wedding to that LLS appearance. You got me to bowl and karaoke, and if that was the only thing you did, that's still a trememdous achievement!
I can't thank you enough for friending me, even before the powers that be in MBP thought I was fit for participation... for being around when you could, and for all of the times we spent, good and bad.

I'm sorry, Lauren! Best wishes for a great new season of Gilmore. I'll always remember your appearances on the CBS talk show as some of the liveliest and most amusing. Thanks for those memories and for interacting around here!
Latona. There's just way too much I can/should/shouldn't say at this point, and if I start, I'd probably never finish. But thanks for being there, not just for me, but for everyone here. I think you are one of the most remarkable individuals here, and I will certainly miss all of the things you do.

I thought you were branching out into acting, which would give a lot of interaction opportunities. But I can understand if [you] say that wouldn't be the same. You had a very special position in the universe as the only talk show host who took his job online. You [and you]will be missed, but everybody else said that already.
