mrkilbornI'm back at home. I feel like taking a week off after this weekend. But that isn't how it works.
So, the Twins came up short. Another great effort ruined by The Best Team Money Can Buy. And what did I have to show for it? An autographed baseball, and a weekend spent with my parents. ESPN didn't even show me leading the "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" singalong, those jealous bastards! I'll show it on the program.

At least the Vikings won their game. They're undefeated! Could this be the Purple People Eaters' year to go all the way? I don't even want to think... all those years of coming so close and failing...
Let's change the subject, shall we? This week on the program, it's all about THURSDAY. That's because it's all about DIDO.
She's back, she's performing, she's fantastic. Her new album, "Life For Rent" is lovely. Go out and pick up your copy right away. Just thinking about it makes me a bit happier.
And there is the NBA season, just a few days from starting! I've been hanging with the T'wolves. Okay, so they may not have the highest payroll in the league, but they do have a shot at a great year. I'll have more about that on the show this week, too. You won't want to miss my report from training camp. That will be awesome.
I'm ready to forget about baseball season. It's dead to me now. It's basketball. Now, and forever.
I'm going to go feel sorry for myself and listen to Dido.
