Early To Bed, Early To Rise...

mrkilbornSome of us didn't go partying last night. Some of us weren't invited. Some of us didn't need to go partying, since some of us weren't nominated!
But the point is that some very wonderful and deserving people won Emmys last night, so I salute them. Me, I shun awards and award ceremonies. Okay, I did host the TV Guide Awards and there was a reference to that in one of the 15 Brad Garrett bits they ran during the show last night. And I did present a People's Choice Award ONE TIME.

parkerposey deletes, then comes back. I get the draw. You miss her, and then she reappears! That's cooler than being as predictable as getting nominated every year, like some sort of Soprano.
So, I'm ready to begin the new day, the new week, a new year of doing some of the best television on television! You can reward it, or award it or watch it or don't even watch it! I'll still be there.
Tonight: THE BANGLES! How's that for a great musical guest? Seann William Scott who is doing a great new film "The Rundown." And if that wasn't enough, Dr. Drew will be there too; I'm trying to remember what lovely actress told me she had a crush on him. Tune in to that show! It will make you laugh.

Date: 2003-09-22 04:23 pm (UTC)But, I don't delete. My journal has only been deleted once and that was because someone hacke dinto it and deleted it. I created a new journal parker__posey the day it happened (fucking CHRISTMAS of all days) and Andy helped me for hours trying to get my original journal back. It took about a week or two to get it back. But I never deleted, just took a bizmillion lj vacations.
But I feel so honored to even be mentioned. I feel so special to know that I was missed. Especially by you Special K. I adore you so much. You're like the one true solid perosn around. I admire you for everything you do, for who you are. You are so very special to me, hun.
Thank you for always being there.. when I come back, when I need you, when you know I need a smile. I love you.
