Justine Henin-Hardenne made an incredible effort to beat Jen Capriati. I know Matt Perry wasn't pleased, but it was the match of the tournament. How the final can be half as good, I don't know.

So, the sun came out today, it was almost as lovely as a day in the Hollywood Hills, here in NYC.

Now that I'm about to leave for home, everything is turning nice. Ah well.

I have to see of Agassi and Roddick make it to the finals. It should be a Super Saturday at the Open. And the best part is the tickets are provided by CBS.

I can watch tennis. The athleticism of it is apparent and it's one of those sports where you watch the pros and think "I could never do that," which to me is the mark of a sport worthy of respect. I always get the impression though that when I watch tennis, I'm watching rich kids who were born with silver spoons in their mouths. Golf is the same way. When you watch it, you're watching the best of the very wealthy, and that makes it hard to root for them. For some reason, nothing gives me that impression more than when I watch Jennifer Capriati. She's overcome a lot of obstacles though, and she's still interesting to watch.
