The View

Okay, I admit it. I wound up doing "The View." It was actually better than I thought it was going to be.

I was most concerned about Star Jones, who we have done endless jokes about over the years. But we buried the hatchet, I think. She really, truly is a "Daytime Diva," and I think we made our peace, even though she was giving me the evil eye, wouldn't hug hello and asked me "what do you do when you don't like the guest you have on." Not exactly the warmest reception! I guess this means I can't do any more Star jokes. *sigh*

Well, she is getting her stomach stapled, so now is as good a time to give 'em up as any!

It was very nice meeting Meredith, though. And is Jessica Simpson stalking me? I had her on the show twice in two weeks, and she was the other guest on this View ep.

The women were all very lively and I suspect they're going to bring in Rachel Campos as the new co-host, since they almost hired her before (and didn't because she was pregnant). Did I do my research? You betcha!

Anyway, the key is staying low key. I survived "The View." I can pretty much survive ANYTHING.

Oh you did not not just say diva. I caught you on Letterman last night! It was great to see 2 night-show hosts on the same show.

I'm jealous for sure! I want to be on the View!
