A Few Things Behind... And The Week Ahead...

Well, the Lakers certainly proved they are the reigning champs! they won last night! sandra__bullock was a fun distraction since the game turned out to be a rout. She's actually pretty knowledgable about the game. Not quite as much as k_russell, but she's knows a bit more than keri_lynn_pratt! (It was a "Keri" analogy. What can I say?)

Tomorrow afternoon, the Lakers need to win again to get back in the series. In fact, I believe they'll need to win the next three games against San Antonio to really get the job done. I'll be back at the Staples tomorrow at NOON, if anyone needs to find me.

How about that chabert, huh? Isn't she adorable? She's what we call a "Good Girl." Go see her movie so she can get a bigger trailer on her next film.

And I was delighted to talk about famke_j's dog. My question... does she spell the Boston Terrier's name "Licorice," "Liquorish," or "Lickerish?" (Look up that last one if you don't know it.)

Meanwhile, licking, er, looking to this week's lineup on the CBS show...

MONDAY - the lovely and talented k_clarkson will be with us! And that's no IDOL rumor! Heh, heh!

TUESDAY - We've been counting it down, and hopefully someone will get him to post again before it's too late... rob_williams who will be the biggest thing out of Britain since S Club or Prince Charles's Ears. Don't miss him. Hopefully he won't miss (or delete), either.

Does BEN HARPER have a journal? I'd be shocked if he didn't. He's stopping by on THURSDAY.

Time for a shout out to some peeps...

Apologies to natalie_portman, who invited me to chat but my computer went haywire. Apparently I had about a thousand cookies in my cache. Call me Cookie Monster! I went cleaning out my closet, so I should be around for more tonight and next week, without such issues to stop me.

Hi to milla_jovovich who went bowling with me and actually was pretty good! She could really throw down with the balls. Milla, I'll roll in the gutter with you at any time. BTW, Bowling is a great way to rid your inner rage, assuming you have any. Really! Try it.

Looking ahead to the revamped late_late_show... we still hope that majandra_d will be one of the first guests, since she was the person who suggested doing this tailored down version. I'll have more details about that next week.

Nothing new on the "Bubbles" front, sorry to say. Perhaps it can happen in September, but it's looking like the May date is now out of the question. I'll let you know if there's any info there.

And big ups to _morrissey_! Hey... Big Mouth Strikes Again.

It's good to see that someone is enthusiastic as I am about the Lakers. I love a good game of basketball. I have season courtside tickets to the lakers. If just give me a heads up, I would be more than happy to take you to a game with me.

I see you around! I sit near Jimmy Jam and sometimes Andy Garcia, and I think we're on the other side of the court from you.

I also get dragged in to do color commentary occasionally by some of the visiting teams radio broadcasters, which doesn't endear me to the gold and royal blue fans!

Honestly, Stephanie, you should thank my lucky stars I didn't pimp your journal. Seriously, everyone I pimp quickly vanishes from the landscape shortly after I do. I'm like a jinx that way. It's to your honor that I didn't mention you!

I don't know if it's still active, but maybe you could liven up must_be_models? It was founded by josie_maran so keep a look out. Or the whole community could have just collapsed. I'll avoid the obvious lack of food joke here.
