Check Your Negativity...
Apr. 24th, 2003 11:58 pmMay I say, that the game was much more exciting than it should have been, because of two teams. One was obviously the Los Angeles Lakers, who were in their own element, the home court, the site of three consecutive World Championships.
The other team that made the game more exciting than it should have been was the team of officials that called that travesty. Phantom fouls... that 4 point play for Kobe Bryant? Come on. Garnett fouling out on Horry? Come On!
Somehow, the Minnesota Timberwolves, battling BOTH of these teams, came away with the win!
Now, don't think I'm celebrating any of this. Primarily because
k_russell wasn't in the best of moods. I think she assumed that a Laker home game in the playoffs was an automatic win.
Truth is, they can get right back in the series on Sunday at 12 Noon, when Game 4 tips off. She hasn't said whether she wants to go with me to that one, though! I guess she'll let me know.
Otherwise, I hope you're having fun! ;)
