Bad Day For Wildcats, Good Day For Birds.
Mar. 30th, 2003 06:56 amWe have Two of the Final Four Determined. And it's two upsets!
The Golden Eagles of Marquette defeated Kentucky and the Kansas Jayhawks bumped off Arizona, effectively ending the two "Wildcats" teams left in the tourney. We'll see these two play on Saturday for the right to go to the National Championship game.
Today there's more fun, as we find out the other two teams to make up the NCAA Four. Will it be Syracuse or Oklahoma in the first game? And can Michigan State keep their run alive against Texas, to make it here?
The Sooners and Longhorns had better be prepared, since the #1 seeds suddenly have gone flatter than the Mississippi Delta.
Don't forget to find my cardboard cut-out in the Coca-Cola® aisle of your favorite supermarket. You can even dance with it, as some other cut outs for other beverages are used! ;)
Someone asked if I was going to demonstrate my excessive skills on the court this week. Will I hit the hardwood and show off the tools that took me from the Montana State bench directly to a sportscasting job? Let's just see about that. Okay people. We want to laugh with, not AT.
I just hope you're having as much fun doing whatever you are doing as I am right here and right now. I'm sure it'll show on the program, tomorrow night! I have to read the sports section. Prepare for the games.
Proud.

Date: 2003-03-30 10:47 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of big sports fans here... but I like to teach a little bit about the games... it's like explaining it all to Mom when you're watching the football on Thanksgiving. Doesn't have a clue.
