Getting It Right.

It seems that AIM is still not allowing chats at this hour. This is very frustrating, since it totally derailed the
late_late_show.
Is anyone even working on fixing the problem? There doesn't seem to be any information about it anywhere. At least when LJ crashed, we got a report of what was happening (and now, we were given an extension on our paid accounts, tyvm).
Maybe if things are corrected by Monday, we'll do a special "post-Grammy" wrap up show. Stay tuned here, and if you pick up an award Sunday night, keep me in mind!
In related news,
chuck_b totally stood us up. Granted, we couldn't actually do the show, but she didn't appear on AIM at the appointed time for the program, and that's always a drag. In fact, she still hasn't said anything about any of it.
At least
norah_j got in touch and let me know she would have to miss the program, a day in advance, which was fine. That's the proper way to do things!
I wonder if there's something I can do to make this process better? The demands of this show are tricky, since we do it live with an audience, and everyone needs to be in place in order to make it all work. Maybe this forum isn't the place for it.
And there is the matter of booking guests at the right time... I mean getting you when you're promoting!
(Which reminds me... "Old School" is in theaters now!)
So, who's up for talking about their upcoming projects?
I'm thinking I should leave the "theme" shows behind and just interview individual guests. The logistical issues are far to annoying to deal with.
Anybody see

Date: 2003-02-22 08:55 pm (UTC)Let's see... We have a pre-launch show on March 8th, at Große Freiheit (a club in Hamburg, Germany). The album is going to be released on April 14th in most European countries and we finally agreed on the track list. Now, all we need is to kill a few people in order to have the cover picture our way. Linde's baby is due in a few weeks, pretty much the same time as the first single, "Funeral Of Hearts" which should be out on March 17th. It sounds very much like nothing you've heard before.
