First Public Screening
Feb. 9th, 2003 12:19 pmI was one of the people who attended the first public screening of "Old School" last night in LA. The place was packed with... can I say it? It looked like my audience from the Late Late Show! And they looked like they were looking for a great night at the movies. No one left disappointed.
It was exciting because so far only industry people had seen it, and even I still hadn't actually viewed the film from start to finish.
Can I say there was a lot of laughing throughout? And there were some disgusting moments too. For example, I was seated next to a guy who audibly sighed when he saw
elisha_cuthbert's... um... rear. That might not have been so bad, but he was there with his girlfriend! That's a bad move!
It got really quiet when I first appeared on screen. I think people were wondering what I was going to do. And I did get off a line in my second scene that really made the whole place explode, so I was feelin' it from the crowd!
What a great response overall, though! A guy was yelling "Show it again!" over and over after the film ended! But then, an usher told me to stop.
Of course, if you missed the screening, you won't want to miss the first weekend! "Old School" opens Friday February 21st only in theaters! You don't want to miss the laughfest of the year!
And you won't want to miss the "Old School"
late_late_show coming on Wednesday, February 19th!
Proud of you!
