I got the email addresses of all of the Bubble winners arranged for [livejournal.com profile] teddythompson to mail out their awards. The Bubbles are in the mail!!!

Speaking of, I felt that there were some changes that we would make when it came to those awards that might improve them in the future.

I think when it came to the community category, we might adopt the same philosophy as the Emmy Awards, and that the [livejournal.com profile] must_be_pop community would not be eligible to win a Bubble. We should have believable hetero and slash men and women, or some combination. We should probably work on the nomination process as well, to streamline it and make it easier for people to nominate.

The Bubbles ceremony actually went much more smoothly than I imagined, (much more smoothly than the Emmy telecast!) and that was due to the proper planning and all of that help. It would still be nice to have some sort of room where everyone could come and view the ceremony at once, but this worked out very well!

As for the Emmy Awards... congratulations to our winners... [livejournal.com profile] j_aniston and The Cast of Friends! and of course The Osbournes! That was one of the best moments of the show, when Sharon and Ozzy came out there.

[livejournal.com profile] debra_messing, [livejournal.com profile] eric_mccormack, [livejournal.com profile] megan_mullally and [livejournal.com profile] seanhayes of "Will & Grace" got ranked typically high on their lovely outfits and hair, so I'm sure they all partied well, despite not having any hardware to show for the night. Likewise [livejournal.com profile] j_garner should be proud of her accomplishments for the first season of "Alias." After all, her face is on every coffee table in the United States right now! Well, one of her faces, depending on the issue of TV Guide you got.

And how can I not mention the writing! Both the writers of "Saturday Night Live" and of my boss, [livejournal.com profile] dave_letterman, "The Late Show," took home trophies. Special kudos to [livejournal.com profile] t_fey who was the head writer until this year... and all the rest of the current SNLers. [Is Dave permanently gone, I wonder?]

Funniest Joan Rivers Moment: She announced that Juliet Mills, nominated for best supporting actress in a drama was coming to talk with her. In fact, it was Dule Hill, nominated for best supporting actor in "The West Wing!" You can't make that up!

Congratulations to anyone who has won anything!

Proud of you!
