Yet Another Joke!

Since I'm nobody's actor, I wound up going to today's Knick/Laker game! There weren't many surprises there... except that the Knicks had a 15 point lead in the first quarter, before the Lakers decided to actually show up.

Speaking of showing up, I was seated just to the right of milla_jovovich! She didn't know a lot about basketball, so I was showing here the finer points of the game. She's a lot of fun!

I didn't get her to agree to the appearance on the late_late_show this Friday, but hopefully, she'll at least decide to appear soon. She'll be on the televised version this Wednesday.

But what about these rude rockers, huh? There seems to be a lot of anger, a lot of Type A reactions to events that happen. There seems to be a lot of short fuses, people who are in recovery and who don't like it. People getting weened off of their drug of choice and people who are just plain ignorant.

I have a message to the people around here who are behaving like 2 year olds who just had their teddy bear taken away: Shut up! Figure out how to interact with other people. I know it's hard to actually realize that the rest of us are people too, but, come closer. Let me tell you this little secret...

WE ARE PEOPLE TOO.

Well.

I'm not a hard rocker and I'm not as old as some of my compatriots; but I've been through just as much as them. I've had drug problems, I have drinking problems. I sometimes get a little out of hand with my emotions, but by you stereotyping all hard rockers/rockers into one specific group points you out as small minded. People who have drug problems don't have them for anyone else; people who have attitude problems don't give a shit what anyone else thinks. Granted some people may do it for the sheer pleasure of pissing other people off, but for the most part they don't care.

I may be some 18 year old bullshit wannabe Moffatt kid, but I know what its like to be "weened of a drug of choice."

By alienating the rockers with bad attitudes, that's just about saying that anyone that picks up an instrument and has a bad day is just as wrong or bad. As much as you tried to make a good point, you failed miserably this time.

You know what? I think you all need to back the fuck off the guy. Fuck, I should be offended by what he said. But I'm not and that's because I knew what he was trying to say. Maybe he could've said it in a different way, but this is his fucking journal and he can say whatever the fuck he wants to say.

Grow the fuck up and stop blaming other people for your shit. How do you know that Craig's had his entire life handed to him? How do you know that he didn't have to work for anything he has? Never assume shit about someone you don't know.

About Friday - I suck, Craig. I can't do it. Since Marco is in town he wants to go to the theatre down the street and see it with all the "regular" people as he calls it.

Any day, any week after that (except Wednesday) would work.
