It began with me watching Bravo. They were running![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ljr_witherspoon's first film titled "The Man In The Moon." If you haven't ever seen it, you should make a point to see it. I almost was late because I was watching her performance!
Anyway... I got dressed and hopped in the car, packed my leiure clothes in a garment bag, drove over todebra_messing's house and we went to The Ivy, a very fine restaurant which was the site for the engagement party for joeylaurenadams and rdowney_jr's engagement party.
After running a small gauntlet of media people, we got inside and had a lovely meal. I had a great Tenderloin, everyone actually enjoyed cuisine, and then the fun and laughter of the announcements and hearing Joey and Robert speaking. It was sweet, funny and very romantic.
Then, it was off to the Del Rio Lanes for the sporting half of the day... The boys against the girls in a cut-throat knock down drag out competition of Bowling!
It was the Matt squared Ben, Craiggers team! We may not have actually been the best, but we got the job done.
Meanwhile, Deb and I actually got the chance to sit and talk between games and frames. We both have had hectic schedules, and this isn't getting any better, even though I have the week off from the television show. I'll still be doing thelate_late_show, in fact two eps this week, which makes for a harder time getting to see her.
But we found that there is time Monday night. I immediately made reservations at The Palm and we'll be able to relax, enjoy the evening and really properly catch up and see just where we are now, and where we might want to go.
Neither of us got any indivdual prizes, but I did get a gift cheque for "The Sharper Image," which I gave to Deb, since she has some use for it right away.
It was fun, and silly, and I did roll a Dutch 200, so I was proud of that! It was just a great time.
I have to remember not to schedule any LJ late late shows during vacation weeks. Maybe next time I'll add a third show to either the previous or following week to make sure there's more time. I really need some time for me... to find some life-time.
Meanwhile, I have to prepare for Jennifer and Natalie's appearances.
