Pointless Update For The Week Ahead...

Did you know that May begins on THURSDAY?
Well... May Sweeps does, anyway. As all of you TV stars already know, this is the last ratings period of the year, and the last chance for networks to claim any victories, to hopefully convert that into advertising revenue (since that's really all television is about anyhow).
Since Thursday is the first day of the ratings period, we are holding out to see what amazing, last second guest we can get to join us on the show. We might even get a member of the defending World Champ basketball team to do something. Laker Pride!
But for the rest of the week on CBS, you'll want to check out...
Tuesday, we have Chantal Kreviazuk on as a musical guest. I just like saying her name. And actually, there's going to be a ton of surprises (primarily because I don't know all of the guests we're having this week). If there's a lag, watch for a lot of CBS stars. If we can swing some big names... there might be that. And HEY! I never got my Barry Manilow or Johnny Mathis in to perform. I'm sure that might come into play during sweeps!
Other guests we've got this week include Andy Garcia, Jake Busey, the great Kirk Douglas and Monday Night, the always funny David Alan Grier. So tune in. It's going to be completely fresh!
