Back In LA!

Apr. 6th, 2003 06:08 pm
I can't believe the week came and went! It was a great deal of fun spending time in New Orleans and we may go back there again. Or, we could go to some other events. Either way, I hope so! It's so nice to be appreciated by the fans. Everybody needs an ego boost every now and then, and I admit it! I'm no exception to that rule. Fun times!

Next year the Final Four is in San Antonio, so maybe we'll do it Texas style!

But overall, we had a fantastic time with this excursion, and it went very well!

Congratulations to Kansas and Syracuse, who made it to the Championship game. Of course, the winner will be crowned tomorrow (Monday) night, live from the Superdome exclusively on CBS!

Time to unpack. Pralines for my mom. I don't know how people eat these, they're so sweet! Dad gets the snapshots from Bourbon Street I took! Way to go dad!

And Coca-Cola® for everybody! Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke, Cherry Coke, Diet Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, Diet Vanilla Coke, Caffeine free Coke, Caffeine Free Diet Coke! And Sprite, and Diet Sprite as well.

The games, the guests, the gumbo... It was a great time, but in the immortal words of Dorothy Gale:

"There's no place like home!"
I always like talking about the upcoming shows on CBS, but this week, sports will play a factor in our schedule.

On Monday, After the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game, which will probably slow up the schedule a bit, you can see Eddie Griffin who will be talking about his new Concert Film, "DysFunktional Family" and Katherine Heigl (what happened to HER?) who will doubtless be talking about "Love Comes Softly," a week from tonight on The Hallmark Channel.

Tuesday, My old pal, Wendie Malick is back. I believe she's on that new Fox series "Oliver Beene," but don't quote me on that, since I've never seen it. Busy.

More importantly, the world's newest SUPERSTAR, Ali G. is coming in. If you've seen his show on HBO Sunday nights at 11, then you already know what I'm talkin' 'bout. He desperately needs a journal.

I know no one cares about former NBA coaches around here, so Jeff Van Gundy on Wednesday won't hold any interest for any of you.

But Thursday, we have the very current Chris Webber of the Sacramento Kings, who I am saying right now will be the NBA Champs!

Additionally, Amanda Bynes (who needs to undelete immediately, please) talks about "What A Girl Wants"

We finish on Friday with Ziggy Marley. It doesn't get better than that.

Note that on Thursday and Friday, CBS begins coverage of Golf's greatest tournament, The Masters, so those shows will be delayed 15 minutes, to show highlights. Go Tiger!

Have a great week!

Proud.
