Surely You Gest!
Jan. 23rd, 2003 10:45 amI don't want to say that Liza (with a "Z") or David (with a "G") have to get journals, but what a great way to make up for being dissed by VH-1, huh? Bring your reality show right here to LJ, you two!!! I'd be honored to be a GEST on that program! Ha ha!
Some people thought I was being snarky and making fun of them for coming on the program. Nothing was further from the truth. I have great respect for Liza, she's been in show business since birth, and is a consummate performer. Likewise, David grew up with Michael Jackson.
It was tough asking questions about MJ. Obviously, they are very good friends with the "King Of Pop," and I wasn't really digging in the dirt about it, but questions must be asked. It's my job to do that, people! I just found it interesting that they don't think he's odd in any way.
David and Liza wanted to come back next week, but we compromised and went out on the town instead. I had no idea that there was a Chippendale's in LA. Then, I was told by one of the dancers that it was actually David's basement.
And then there's Merv! With Merv around, it's always a party. How about that Jack Sheldon! Sounded great! And yeah... Mr. Conjunction Junction and I'm Just A Bill (for you children out there who didn't know...) Fantastic stuff, if you missed it. Yes, I even did a little karaoke, or as I call it Croak-ee. I'll leave the singing to the Avrils and the Britneys.
But wait! Just wait til I get Barry Manilow and Johnny Mathis on! February Sweeps is coming up fast!
We're rockin' it OLD SCHOOL (opening February 21st at a theater near you! The billboards just started going up! Look for them as you drive!)
