Weekend Report
Nov. 24th, 2002 06:28 pmSo, we're doing "new" episodes of the CBS Late Late Show this week, even though we're taking off for Thanksgiving week. Ah, the miracles of videotape. Look for such familiar faces as ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
halle_berry on Tuesday and eddie_izzard on Wednesday (one of my personal favorites). I know you won't bother watching Thursday or Friday, and that's okay. I'll be back the following Monday, ready to help you work off those extra pounds with some much needed belly laughs!
Speaking of thelate_late_show, we do plan to have more of them, soon! And to that end, I have enlisted the aid of one
amanda_marshall
who is now the show's OFFICIAL BOOKING AGENT!
This means that she is coordinating the efforts to get guests on the program, to get people on board in advance and to make sure we all know what's going on as far as appearances.
I wanted to have time to arrange everything, but I can see that I don't, so Amanda is going to try to help out where she can. We'll see how it goes with her schedule, her other committments and her new beau,marc_anthony.
If you're interested in getting booked for thelate_late_show, get in touch. I hope to do a weekly program, so as soon as you know about your schedule and availability, pass that info along. I want to arrange shows in advance for promoting and for preparing! LET HER KNOW!
It has been both fun and bizarre hanging around with the Lavigne Sisters, and their other Family Members. I look forward to the Apocalypse, coming soon to a planet near you. Hopefully, like in the film "Independence Day," I'll be able to jump out of the way of the impending Armegeddon, just the way the dog did.
Speaking of disasters, there were the Vikings.amanda_latona invited herself over for some morning coffee today and to gloat over her dynamic defending champ Patriots beating up on my poor little Minnesota Vikes. What did they ever do to you, Amanda?!
Actually, the Purple People Eaters very nearly made it a game at the end. But too little, too late. Thank goodness I didn't have a bet on that one!
Finally, I wanted to announce the stocking stuffer of the season!
