It's good to know that misery loves company. The problem is I'm supposed to make America laugh tomorrow night, and I don't necessarily feel like it.

So, I think I'm bringing the [livejournal.com profile] late_late_show back on May 3rd. Maybe that will get me back into the old swing of things.

I'm trying to stay focused on the things I'm supposed to do. And I will. I am determined to not let anything bother me, and to bring fun and frivolity to people everywhere!

Besides, [livejournal.com profile] keri_lynn_pratt and I are going to go to the Getty on Wednesday. A little culture I'm sure will be good for the soul.

I always do better when I focus on other people's problems. I seem to be able to help people feel better and understand the things that they are going through so much more easily than I can for myself. (Maybe I should have been a DAYTIME talk show host!)

Still, the person who seems to need my help the most is the one person who I not only cannot help. Oh, no. I was the reason that she feels miserable.

I think I need to go out for a drive. I just burned a new CD for driving. All instrumentals:

"Route 101" - Herb Alpert
"Boulevard" - Peter White
"Chris" - Pat Metheny
"Sunchyme" - Dario
"Linus And Lucy" - David Benoit
"Lucifer" - Alan Parsons Project
"Mannix" - Lalo Schifrin
"The Kaleidoscope Affair" - Swing Out Sister
"Joy" - Apollo 100 Featuring Tom Parker
"Rain Forest" - Paul Hardcastle
"Spunky" - Bob James
"Around The World" - Daft Punk
"Alone With You" - Brian Culbertson

If you need me, I'll be driving through town on Wilshire, then onto Santa Monica, and up Doheny to Sunset, which I'll take to the coast. After that, I don't know. Maybe I'll take the 10 back to the 405, or meander through Brentwood. Maybe I'll go up PCH for a bit. I just need to get some smog and carbon monoxide in my lungs.

Later.
