The Great Yambo Question!
Dec. 10th, 2001 12:03 amI've been considering doing a "Yambo" Tourney on AIM. But only if there's enough interest! So I'd like you to go here and VOTE!
We'll work out the times and other logistics if and when enough people respond.
Thanks! <3

Yambo Explained!
Dec. 10th, 2001 11:38 am"Yambo" is a game. It's a deceptively simple game. It's a game of speed and skill, where two people square off against each other and against the clock!
I ask a series of questions to the two contestants, alternating between the person who is the first guest out and the second guest out on the show, and they must come up with the correct answer. Get three wrong, and you lose. Get three right and you win! On the show, you have three seconds to respond with the correct answer, or else it is counted as wrong. Here, we would make a slight change, to allow for typing skills... probably make it ten seconds for the AIM version.
This "LJ Yambo Tourney" on AIM would work much like the NCAA Basketball tourney, with people bracketed by skill level, and facing each other in sets. The loser would be eliminated from the tourney, and the winner would move on to the next round, until just one person is left: The LJ Yambo Champion!
Please leave any other questions you have about the tourney here! Thanks!
